On Tuesday last week Stonor ran a host of activities to raise money for their two chosen charities. The final grand total was a whopping £1110.55. Well done Stonor!
This year, Stonor are supporting Thinking of Oscar and the Little Princess Trust. Thinking of Oscar was set up in memory of Oscar Cole, who died suddenly in June 2014 aged just 16 months. Thinking of Oscar supports children and their families whilst in hospital care by funding projects and innovation over and above that supplied by the NHS. The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs free of charge to children and young adults up to the age of 24, who have sadly lost their own hair due to cancer treatment and other illnesses.
Stonor hosted breakfasts to fund raise for these charities, as well as organising a teachers vs. sixth form netball match and a showing of a Christmas movie to fit with our Christmas-themed charities day. Stalls at activities day included a photo booth, a cake sale, lucky dip, sweet tombola, sweet pong, guess the name of the teddy and nail painting. Click here to see the fun!
