Welcome to the Rye St Antony Parents’ Committee area.
On this page you will find any information you need about the events run by the Parents’ Committee and information how to get involved as a member.
Our active Parents’ committee is highly valued by the school for their constant support, whether it is running a club or activity, giving a careers talk or organising a fund-raising event. The Rye St Antony Parents’ Committee acts as a forum for discussion, to promote and assist in fund-raising events and to organise social activities.
Each term, the Committee organises an event for the school – recently this has included the very successful Christmas Bazaar, a Barn Dance, an Auction of Promises, a Circus and a Quiz. The busy committee is currently in the process of organising seasonal events such as the highly popular Christmas Bazaar.
Of course none of this would be possible without the enthusiasm and hard work of its committee members and they are always looking for new volunteers. Whether you can give up an hour a week or an hour a year, all help and support for the Parents’ Committee would be welcomed. Some parents volunteer to help with a particular skill they may have and some are happy to join in and help whenever needed.
The Parents’ Committee carries out significant fund-raising for the school and recently this has been the provision of an iMac and an individual headset microphone system for school films and school productions and outdoor play equipment for Junior School pupils. Thank you Parents’ Committee and well done!
