Our boarding options at Rye include:

At Rye we pride ourselves on creating a warm and friendly family atmosphere where each girl is treated as an individual whose needs and likes are catered for. This reflects the whole school philosophy, and we encourage all our girls to respect one another, take an active role in the boarding community, try new experiences and just as importantly, develop strong and lasting friendships with their fellow pupils.

Girls help to plan our busy programme of activities and trips for the evenings and weekends so that no two weeks are ever the same. From baking and arts and crafts to sports, shopping and cultural visits to trips to the seaside, there’s never a dull moment! Boarders also take full advantage of the school’s extra-curricular activities including ballet, drama, sport, fitness and lots more.

Our experienced Boarding staff are always available to encourage, support, guide and offer friendly, practical advice whenever needed.

We actively encourage prospective pupils to sample boarding life at Rye for themselves, it’s the best way to experience our unique and happy community in action.

We look forward to showing you around our two boarding houses soon.
