We have a range of co-curricular facilities on offer

Drama and Music facilities

For our main drama productions and music productions, Rendall Hall provides an excellent space complete with full sized stage, lighting and sound equipment, grand piano and seating for up to 600 people. (Larger events, such as Speech Day are held in the Sports Hall).

Our smaller Heynes Hall with its extensive lighting, sound and black backdrop is perfect for smaller drama workshops, musical events and other gatherings requiring less space. Two music classrooms provide a rich variety of percussion instruments and keyboards with the larger classroom also offering ten laptop computers with Sibelius 7 software for composing music. There are also a number of recital and practice rooms within the school’s Music Department.

Art and Design studios

Rye St Antony has three main art and design studios which provide an extensive range of equipment to help pupils harness their creativity. The main studio contains a printing press, storage areas, computers for scanning and easels. There is also a textiles studio with sewing machines, computers and printers as well as a pottery room providing Pug Mill, kiln, shelving and other equipment.

Sixth Form Centre

Our purpose-built Sixth Form centre provides first class self-contained facilities for our pupils to study, relax and enjoy their meals together. There is a light and airy dining room, spacious relaxation and study areas as well as the boarders’ bedrooms. Sixth Formers can also take advantage of their own scenic courtyard garden with seating areas for warm summer days.

There’s a very impressive art and design studio that includes a brand new photographic dark room.
