With their distinctive red jumpers and striped shirts, our pupils like to take pride in their uniforms and their appearance.
This means they take pride in themselves and self-confidence increases. Rye St Antony pupils are excellent ambassadors for the school, looking smart and ready for a busy and exciting school day.
All pupils, with the exception of the Nursery School and Sixth Form, wear the Rye St Antony uniform. Girls are expected to tie long hair back.
Throughout most of the school year, pupils wear the winter uniform, whilst summer uniform is worn from the Tuesday following the May bank holiday until the end of the Trinity (summer) term.
We like all items of clothing marked clearly with the owner’s name and name tapes are available from our uniform suppliers.
Sixth Form girls (Years 12 and 13) wear their own clothes, with a more formal dress code and a no denim policy for special events and open days. They are expected to look smart and tidy at all times ready to work and engage in the school community. Sports clothes are worn for PE lessons and activities.
For boarders, informal clothes such as jeans may be worn inside the school grounds in the evenings and at weekends. Boarders need to ensure they have with them both casual and informal clothes suitable for any occasion throughout the term.
